You don’t need to request an absentee ballot to vote by mail. All registered voters should receive a mail-in ballot at their registered address.

To determine whether you reside in my ANC Single Member District, which is Ward 3/4 G-04 and includes Lafayette School and Lafayette Park, you can check this map, or you can go to the DC Government’s Master Address Repository website and:

  • Check Search by Location
  • Enter Your Street Address
  • Click Find It!
  • If your Single Member District is 3G04, you are in my Single Member District, and you can vote for me!
  • To determine your voter registration status
  • To check if your address is current in the Board of Elections system
  • To understand if any ID is required
  • To locate a physical polling location
  • To track your ballot
  • To find an answer to other voting-related questions

Voter Registration

If you are not registered to vote, you may register at any Vote Center, provided that you show acceptable proof of residence.

Acceptable forms of proof of residence include:

  • Current and valid District of Columbia DMV issued ID
  • Government check or paycheck
  • Bank statement
  • Current utility bill
  • Student housing statement/tuition bill
  • Homeless shelter occupancy statement
  • Lease
  • Other government document with your name and address

Change of Address

If you need to change your address during early voting or on Election Day, you can do it at any Vote Center.

You must update your information and provide acceptable proof of residence.

Acceptable forms of proof of residence include:

  • Bank statement
  • Current utility bill
  • Student housing statement/tuition bill

Name Change

If you need to update your name on Election Day, you can make the change at any Vote Center. You are not required to provide proof of residence in order to update your name. You will be asked to complete the Registration Update Form. Once the Registration Update Form is completed, you will be issued a live (regular) ballot.

HOW, WHEN, AND WHERE TO VOTE

Vote By Mail

You may return a mail-in ballot by:

  1. Mailing the Mail-in Ballot via the US mail – Any time after receipt.
  2. Dropping the Mail-in Ballot in any MAIL BALLOT DROP BOX – October 5 until November 3 at 8:00 PM.
  3. Returning the Mail-in Ballot at an EARLY VOTE CENTER – October 27 to November 2 from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
  4. Returning the Mail-in Ballot to a VOTE CENTER – Election Day, November 3 from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Vote In Person

You may vote in person by:

  1. Voting early at an EARLY VOTE CENTER – October 27 to November 2 from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM.
  2. Voting at a VOTE CENTER – Election Day, November 3, from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Note: You may vote at ANY location!
